职位描述

• Consults and coordinates with health care team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans 
• Preps operating room for patient/procedure 
• Conducts pre- and post-operative education 
• Communication well with surgical team, patients and family members. 
• Records all care information concisely, accurately and completely, in a timely manner, in the appropriate format and on the appropriate forms 
• Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes. 
• Nurses effectively interact with patient and significant others, while maintaining the standard of professional nursing. 
• Performs other position-related duties as assigned, depending on assignment setting 
Scrub Nurse: 
• Selects and handles instruments and supplies used for the operation, passing them to surgeon 
• Inventories all items both pre- and post-surgery 
Circulating Nurse: 
• Assists in positioning, responding to comfort/safety of patient 
• Provides for accurate care and handling of specimens 
• Observes and enforces strict standards of asepsis 
• Observes, checks and monitors all equipment used during surgery to confirm they are running smoothly 
• Handles patient documentation 
• Inventories all items both pre- and post-surgery 
• Carry out hospital’s policy and procedure properly 
• Take preceptor role to provide new nurse orientation and training in the department. 
• Interact with own staff, physicians and other department’s staff 
• Able to act as charge nurse at department level 
• Works as key player in OR nursing expertise 
• Prepare related items for anesthesia, make sure the equipment, medication and medical consumables available. Assist anesthesiologist as needed. 
• Professionalism and positive work attitude

任职要求

• Minimal Education Requirement—above college degree in nursing 
• Minimal experience Requirement- 5years working experience in nursing; Above 2 years OR specialty nursing experience preferred Minimum 2 years oversea nursing experience required for new hires. 
• Licensing Needed- Registered nurse license in China. 
• Adequate communication skills in English and Chinese 
• Adequate OR nursing skills based on clinical needs
